SALT food truck rides into Riyadh Season

Try the much-loved burgers and ice cream during the festival

Riyadh Season is well and truly underway, lighting up the capital with fun, fireworks and foodie offerings. The Dubai-born and bred SALT is notorious in Riyadh. It’s a crowd-pleaser, as SALT food trucks often see herds of people waiting in lines just to get a bite of these savoury delights.

This Riyadh Season, SALT truck has made its way to Riyadh. Its extensive menu includes burgers (both chicken and beef), fries (you crave it, they have it), and ice cream

SALT’s Instagram handle comes from their food truck day. Before they had any permanent restaurants, they began from serving from the back of a food truck (talk about humble beginnings).

The story goes that users had no choice but to follow the account (cheekily titled, @findsalt) to find out where the truck would be parked on any given day. And that is how they became one of the most well-known food joints in the GCC. Note: never underestimate the power of hungry foodies.

SALT is on most of Riyadh’s all-time favourite meal lists, with its deliciously cheesy fries, absolutely mouthwatering burgers (looks and all), and the cherry on top would have to be their ice cream, which includes popular flavours like Lotus.

So, this Riyadh Season, you can also make your way over to the truck and grab some fantastic fast food.

Open daily 5pm-3am, Al Aqiq, instagram.com/findsalt (9200 24788).
