Have you got a sweet tooth? Well, you will be pleased to hear that Riyadh has a new ice cream parlour. The cool ice cream parlour Thekra Ice Cream serves soft serve (see what we did there?) ice cream from their quaint little aesthetically appealing shop. If you’re anything like us here at Time Out, you always have room for desserts.
Thekra Ice Cream already has three branches across the capital and its fourth now opens in the north of Riyadh. When it comes to flavours, you have your classics including chocolate (which is absolutely divine), vanilla and strawberry, and then a mango and berry flavour to add to the list. They also have an amazing selection of wonderful toppings to add to your bowl (or cone) including caramel syrup and freshly chopped fruits, too.
Thekra Ice Cream’s has recently been popular on social media, due to its brightly coloured ice cream coming in shades of hot pink and a vibrant yellow. Between their generous serving sizes and extremely photogenic ice creams, we can tell you right now that these cones and cups are filled with deliciousness.
The small cup is priced at SAR5 per serving (and yes, you can mix up the flavours without having to pay more). The medium comes is SAR8 per serving, and the large comes in at just SAR11. And like we said, Thekra Ice Cream scoops are huge, so you can save some riyals while satisfying that sweet tooth.
