It’s time to get active and more than a little messy with the first Tough Mudder Riyadh.
Tough Mudders are famous for their endurance tests as much as the messy fun. They don’t call it the “ultimate mud and obstacle race” for nothing. You have the chance to see just how messy things can get at the first-ever Tough Mudder in Saudi Arabia.
The Tough Mudder Riyadh obstacle race will take place on Friday November 25 at 7am at Dirab Golf & Country Club.
A Tough Mudder is an endurance event series co-founded by Will Dean and Guy Livingstone. Runners attempt to complete a 10 to 12 mile-long obstacle course. The obstacles often involve facing fears like fire, water, heights and electricity. And all of the mud.
As mentioned, the Tough Mudder Riyadh 2022 is the first event of its kind in Saudi Arabia.

For adults, aged 14 to 65, Tough Mudder Riyadh 2022 will be divided into five and 10-kilometre mud runs, where you’ll be required to run, climb, crawl and pull yourself through various obstacles involving water, electricity and heights. And of course plenty of mud. The five-kilometre run will feature more than 13 obstacles, while the 10-kilometre one will feature more than 21. Are you up for the challenge?
Kiddos can also join in. There’s a Mini Mudder taking place at the Tough Mudder Riyadh Obstacle Race 2022. Kids aged 13 and up can join the five-kilometre Mini Mudder while children between the ages of six and 12 can take part in the 1.5-kilometre race with eight obstacles.
Lace up those trainers Riyadh, registration for the mud run is now open. Ticket start at SAR140 for the Mini Mudder and SAR400 for the Tough Mudder Riyadh Obstacle Race for adults. There will also be ladies-only sessions, for women aged 13 to 65, starting 2pm for SAR330 for the five-kilometre run and SAR360 for the 10-kilometre.
