WWE brings Elimination Chamber to Saudi Arabia

The big-name matches happen on Saturday February 19

Wrestling fans rejoice as WWE is making a comeback to the Kingdom after the successful Crown Jewel here in Riyadh. The Elimination Chamber will be held in Jeddah on Saturday February 19.

The matches will be the seventh event hosted by the WWE in Saudi Arabia under a 10-year partnership in support of Saudi Vision 2030, so we have many more years of exciting rumbles happening in our neck of the woods to look forward to.

The main event will see Brock Lesnar trying to score the WWE Championship in Saudi Arabia. Look out for the ultimate face-off between Bill Goldberg and Roman Reigns. The match was originally supposed to take place in April 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s considered one of the most-anticipated matches to happen in WWE history – and it’s happening right here.

Goldberg is no stranger to Kingdom, having previously wrestled in the Crown Jewel in Riyadh. The evening will also feature wrestlers Drew McIntyre, Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin. Tensions are running high as the three currently have an ongoing feud, so the stage is set for a seemingly unforgettable match in Jeddah.

Women wrestlers are also expected to enter the ring at the forthcoming event. When Natalya and Lacey Evans competed in 2019, it was the first time that women fought professionally in Saudi Arabia.

This time, the wrestlers include Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Doudrop, Rhea Ripley, Nikki ASH, and Becky Lynch, with each looking for a shot at Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship.

We can’t wait to see who comes out on top at Jeddah’s Super Dome. Are you ready?
